Andrew Burton
Andrew Burton joined the Clearview Traffic Group in 2005 when Count On Us was acquired to add to the previous acquisitions of Golden River & Astucia.
Andrew founded Count On Us in 1987 and grew the business to become the UK market leader in traffic & transport data collection with a regional base of 9 offices throughout the UK.
With a restructuring of the business in 2009, Andrew widened his remit within the group to include commercial responsibility for the Golden River, Astucia and Count On Us brands together with the development of a partner network, both UK and overseas. This role now includes identifying new markets, products and services across the group.
Operations Director:
Hilary Jones
Hilary joined Count On Us Ltd as the Regional Director for Scotland in 1998.
This move followed a distinguished career in Regional and Local Government in Scotland working for Glasgow City Council and Strathclyde Regional Council. Moving to the Private Sector Hilary brought a wealth of experience in transport policy, long term monitoring, public transport; traffic management and design supported by an MSc in Transport Studies.
Since joining Count On Us Hilary has been responsible for offices, numerous projects and also company implementation of ISO standards in Safety, Quality and the Environment; culminating in her current role as Operations Director as part of the Clearview Traffic Senior Management Team.
Dan Wallace
South
Dan joined Count on Us in 2008 with great experience in client support, product delivery and team management from working within a number of technology led organisations. He also brought knowledge of the Traffic and Transport data collection industry, being the co-founder of the survey Company Modal Data Ltd. Dan’s appointment as the Business Development Director for the London and South East region enabled him to extend his client facing expertise to a larger and more diverse client base supplying a wider range of services. His abilities and focus have culminated in his appointment to the role of Regional Director in 2009 and more recently, Business Development Manager for the South in 2011.
Steve Jones
North
Steve joined Count On Us in 2006 to set up the South Wales office, having accumulated over 20 years of direct experience in the field of Transportation Data Collection. His previous roles within the transport departments at Mid-Glamorgan County Council and Glamorgan Engineering Consultancy allowed Steve to gain a breadth of knowledge managing and running transport surveys and large scale projects. Since joining Count On Us, Steve has developed the business in Wales and the South West with rapid and sustained growth leading to him being appointed as Business Development Manager for the North in 2011.
Brian McArdle
Brian joined Count On Us Ltd in 2002 having spent over 35 years working within the manufacturing and retail industries in a range of supervisory and senior management positions. Brian has brought invaluable expertise in staff management, budget control and complete project management to the business. Working in a number of positions within Count On Us, he has developed a range of important fieldwork skills and is utilising these together with his leadership expertise in his latest role as Resource Manager.
Jerry Bentall
Kevin Martin
Kevin joined Count On Us as an enumerator in 1997. After a brief period away in South Africa in 2004(Studying) and working in Spain for 2 years (2005-2007), he returned to Count On Us. Excluding these 2 periods, Kevin has worked at Count On Us for almost 12yrs. In this time, he's progressed from an Enumerator to Supervisor to Survey Manager to Project Manger to Business Development Manager and most recently as a Resource Manager. Kevin has always been based at the London office and been involved in numerous large projects in and around London.
Sean Simmons
Sean joined Count On Us in 2000 as a Survey Manager and has 23 years experience, working in both the Public and Private Sectors for organisations including Reading Borough Council and WSP. During this time Sean was responsible for both Automatic and Manual Data Collection, Public Transport surveys and complete project management for transport planning. Throughout his time with Count On Us Sean has been responsible for a vast range of survey projects with particular expertise in RSIs and ATC monitoring contracts. He was promoted to Resource Manager in 2011.
